Archives - The Sunshine Boys

by Neil Simon

Directed by Margaret Hakansson

Saturday 24th September – Saturday 1st October 1983 in the Auditorium

Described when first presented in New York as “the most delightful play Mr. Simon has written for several seasons”, it is packed with typical Simon wisecracking “one-liners” and, for good measure, an hilarious vaudeville sketch. As a bonus there is an endearing underlying warmth in the love/hate relationship between the two main characters, Willie and Al.
