Archives - The Ghost Train
by Arnold RidleyDirected by Joan GoodwinThursday 6th – Saturday 15th January 1983 in the AuditoriumA feckless young man accidentally strands six fellow passengers and himself at a sinisterly remote Cornish railway station whose psychic station-master tells them a weird tale of a ghost train. Ghost train there certainly is and other alarming manifestations throughout a hair-raising night in the waiting room. Written as a ‘drama’ in the 1920’s, its initial popularity has never waned but changing taste has transformed it into a melodramatic comedy. It is ideal post-Christmas entertainment. | Part of the Barn’s 1982/1983 season Presented by The Barn Theatre Club |
