Archives - Oleanna

by David Mamet

Directed by Hugh Croydon

Friday 28th November – Saturday 6th December 1997 in the Auditorium

A college lecturer, a man of about forty, interviews one of his students, a girl of about twenty. That is the play Oleanna, and if that sounds dull, nothing could be further from the truth. It is about sexual harassment and political correctness: certainly that is not dull. You will leave the theatre arguing into the night about the play’s message and its violent climax.

The play was presented at the Royal Court in 1993 with David Suchet and Lia Williams, and directed by Harold Pinter.
